Thank god bugle beads and sparkly 6" CFMPs are still appropriate for 8:30 in the morning. Style triumphs over all.

Thank you! I had forgotten her name and wanted to watch these again. Awesome.

I have not yet seen these videos, but I still resent the new-expression-coinage-attempt; is it the reader's fault that you post videos that other media have already covered? Not much confidence in your blog!

OK, I have NO idea what the difference between an eye liner and an eye pencil is. Clearly, I don't have a good look.

I think I know a drag queen who owns that green dress.

I just converted a whole bunch of new Brenda Dickson fans this weekend. My Favorite is by far part 2.

Wow! Bill (@ #2) is really fast on the internet. How did he get so fast? He sees things other people will only see in the future. But what's great about Bill is that he comes back to the distant past to let us slow people know that he's seen it.
I know that he's already read this comment. I almost feel that he's reading it before I write it.
I wonder what will happen next in Bill's internet travels. What will he see that might take me weeks to see? Oh how much better that video must have been when Bill saw it!
I love you fast Bill!

This never gets old, but I forgot this line:

"Notice the slit?"

I spat my coffee all over the monitor after that beaut.

Because the Internet is a race and you won.

I love it.

Hey poster Girl (and XTC) ... here's a hint: I wrote that because of what Dan wrote. I did not write that because I've seen the videos (I haven't, even after this post) or because I wanted to brag that I've seen them or because I'm fast on the Internet.

Again: I wrote that because of what Dan wrote.

Idiots.

When I watch this I wonder if she really thought that she was giving useful advice, and if being so incredibly fucking shallow makes one's life happier. I mean, on the one hand you don't have to worry about politics, or human suffering, or anything other than looking good. On the other hand, looking good apparently takes a huge investment of time and energy (if not actual thought).

This reminds me to go out and buy ten pairs of identical red snakeskin boots. Thanks so much.

@ 6 -

An eye liner is was traditionally a liquid or paste which is applied with a brush. An eye pencil is a pencil used for lining. It gives a softer, smudge-able line and is easier to apply, and easier to mask mistakes, but only a real liner can give a perfectly, dark, black line. More and more often, people tend to refer to pencils as liners, which I suppose is technically okay, since they are used to line. So, all pencils are liners but not all liners are pencils.

This has been your daily lesson from a drag queen.

One of the most hilariously psychedelic things she says is: "Remember, when you shop, your eye will naturally be drawn to things that you like."
