Israel is dull this year, last year was better in a bad Gogol Bordello sort of way. But this coverage makes me very happy, as now I have an outlet for my Eurovision fascination that doesn't include boring all my friends. Huzzah!

Thanks a lot Dan, as if I didn't have enough things to distract me from doing my work now I'm addicted to Eurovision. There should be a warning on these things, like "warning, viewing bad Eurovision videos may be habit forming"

When am I going to find the time to hoard wheat and rice??????

I educated my coworkers and our interns about Eurovision last summer when I forced them all to watch the drag queen runner up. I love that song.

I think it's the best thing ever. The sample of this year's entries leave a bit to be desired so far, but I assume they'll pick up in the next installment.

For the full Eurovision experience, you need Terry Wogan providing his inimitable sarcastic coverage for the UK broadcast. Hilarious. Eurovision is brilliant.

@7: Fnarf, have you seen Azerbaijan yet? Now that is a classic Eurovision entry. And some of the novelty entries are pretty entertaining (Latvia has pirates, who are clearly the new vampires).

@9: That vid is a bit American Idol, but most of them are much, much better. You have to go watch Ukraine. Actually, the Ukraine from a few years ago that won is also pretty awesome, a Europop version of Xena, Warrior Princess...

I don't like Line Out. In fact, I get downright perturbed whenever I click on it by accident.

@2:
WoW! Zlad is the bomb! The "Anti-Pope" video is great too.

But that Israeli guy still sucks a bag o' dicks!

I wholeheartedly concur with MoTown. It streams on the Internet! Someone with a cable that can connect a computer to a projector should be able to show it.

Eurovision is probably one of my favorite things. It really is a train wreck...though some of the entries are actually okay, a lot of them are just so bad it's fun.

Also, there's a drinking game for it if anyone's interested...the one I remember was a bit more UK-centric, but whatever.
