He sounds like a raving lunatic paranoid schizophrenic. I don't even know what the hell he is talking about. It is incoherent.

Scientology will do that to you. I mean, look at Tom Cruise, for example...

Clear?

Scientology: the original MMO.
The monthly fees are exorbitant, it's a bitch of a grind and the high-level game just ain't there.

Yeah, not exactly a sound, coherent argument against Scientology. Keee-razy.

He's actually totally coherent, he's just using a bunch of Scientology jargon. You pretty much can't talk about Scientology without using their own made-up words for their made-up concepts, which is part of its power over people.

He's not exactly incoherant, he's just using Scientology lingo. Jargon. Clique language. Read a little about the religion and you can decipher his raving.

Scientology covets the fuzzy-minded and emotionally unstable (e.g. Tom Cruise and other people with the maturity of teenagers).

And no, this is not a good argument against Scientology, but it's probably a good example of its effects.

its not incoherent if 1) you know anything about scientology and 2) you aren't a scientologist. He's a good example of the mush that becomes of your brain after those idiots get to you tho.

If is real, than something is fucked up.

Brilliant.

Now I don't have to read all those books written by the athiests!

Dirge, I love you.

Also, his point is well-made, if you can understand what he's saying. Those who are supposed to be beyond migraines (having paid enough to be "OT8) are still having migraines. And they're not supposed to have had a migraine since OT1. It doesn't work. Nice to hear it from someone who tried it.

I've been lusting after this hunky little furball for years. He appears nearly naked for a brief flash in the horror flick "Monkey Shines".

What's a migraine?

Maybe some of us don't get them because we used to do Elron awards readings of shitty SF novels at cons and realize Scientology is a really really badly scripted SF experience ...

Yes, I saw the Tom Cruise video, so I know about the bizarre lingo. But Tom was presumably speaking to a Scientology audience. This guy is presumably speaking to a non-Scientology audience. And he's using the lingo, like he can't in any way communicate in the "real world". So, sad, but also doesn't really give him any credibility. He's either crazy or really stupid, and there is no actual proof that Scientology did that to him - maybe before he joined the cult he had his own set of made-up words about little green men. I'm not at all defending Scientology, but I sure wish someone who was once "in" was now able to give a sound, rational explanation of the cult. It seems like it only attracts the genuinely insane. Which makes it not-so-much evil as... a club for crazy people (Tom is president).
