Is it really any more warped, crazy, shocking, etc. that a guy who plotted to get his girlfriend killed would allow his infant son to witness it? Did we expect him to have some sort of shame?

"I shall now give “Every Child…” a rest"

Please make it a permanent rest. We all understand what you're trying to say here but you're beating a dead horse and it does absolutely nothing to make Slog more interesting or enjoyable.

These guys were from Massachusetts, they should have known that plot was a way-old meme.

@3: Or a new blog! Slog, Line Out, and Killer Parents.

Probably should add a Pedo Priests blog too.

I could fill Slog every day with dozens of posts like this one.

I know. Ages ago, before the World Wide Web and sites like this one, I used to argue with anti-gay bigots on an unmoderated Usenet forum called alt.politics.homosexuality. One of their favorite pastimes was posting news stories about men sexually abusing boys, or as though that was some sort of proof that gay men were all predators. I took to responding by posting news stories of heterosexual violence toward children, chillingly often committed parents themselves. What I found was I could post one or more of these nearly every day, just by searching some news wire sources I had access to back then. After a while it became too horrible to keep up and I just stopped.

That was back in the 1990s.
