Well, at least he remembered to take the training wheels off his kid's bike beforehand - otherwise, he would have REALLY looked stupid.

Maybe the point is that if you're going to ride a bike, you need to follow the rules like staying off the freeway, staying out of the middle of the road, etc., or you're going to have problems.

It's not news that people don't like to ride bikes. Five minutes in traffic is enough to prove that.

I'm actually thinking of buying my son a bike with that $900 "extra" refund they're giving me ... well, not all of it ...

It's like when, after his DUI, Homer has to ride Lisa's pink frilly bicycle to work...though it's not a total loss with the bell. Those schmos at the Simpsons...

There was a quick shot of a "real" cyclist, with his snazzy Spandex Cyclist Costume. The main guy seemed to recognized that he wasn't prepared to ride a bike to work.

I will never ride my bike to work. I do not have the luxury to dress casually at work and my office is so tiny we are lucky to have bathroom facilities, let alone a shower, which I wouldn't use anyway.

I applaud people who ride their bikes to work, but that will never be me. It's too dangerous and inconvenient. I take the bus.

um...for most normal people...other than a small minority in the young urban Seattle crowd...riding your bike to work IS a sucky and ridiculous idea.

but it IS a sucky and ridiculous idea because the infrastructure of the city (and other cities, as i live in ohio), and not because riding a bike is inherently sucky.

riding a bike is *fabulous*... if you are not on a main road.

I don't want to ride a bike because I know that if I do, the SLUT will hunt me down and kill me.

I bought a new car today. It's a Honda CR-V. And, yes, it is an SUV.

I named it "Erica". Fitting - dontcha think?
