Please don't post links to the registration-required areas of the NY Post or other papers. At least copy and paste the relevant content from those places in your posts here.

Some of us choose not to open up our computers to their invasive cookie-setting evilness but would still like to see at a minimum what the panic is about. We could use a service like BugMeNot, but hey--information wants to be free. There is a way to get around registration sites using Google, but is it really worth the extra effort? Not usually.

K Thnx.

For people who care about this:
1) most newshounds already are registered with the NYT site

2) It's easy on the NYT site to generate no-login links to any content. Just hit the 'blog this' link, and it will generate the URL with some gobbledegook variable at the end which is a free pass to read it. See if the SLOG editors are willing to do this step.

3) You said it, BugMeNot.
