My uncle was living in his camper in my grandfathers driveway. The kerosine heater catches on fire and my uncle scrambles in to extinguish it. Simultaneously a he catches his arm on something and tares away a HUGE chunk of flesh from his arm.

Well, the fire is extinguished, blood everywhere, now we are going to the hospital and sew the chunk of flesh back into his arm.

But where is the chunk of flesh? No, only an innoscent looking BLACK LABRADOR RETRIEVER!

I do so enjoy blind bigotry from someone who is in principle against bigotry. The face has a lot of oils, which is why MOST dogs try to lick faces. Starving dogs do generally eat the corpses of their owners if left to their own devices for a few days, face first.

Pomeranians have killed babies. Why not go after them?

Or they've eaten me.

As long as they don't get euthanized for the 'outrage', I hope it's the latter.

Probably safe to say any carnivore, when faced with starvation, will opt to eat what doesn't fight back.

Meat is meat to any carnivore or omnivore. Rats, cats, ferrets, dogs, etc. will all eat any carrion left lying around and basically that's all a dead human body is.

yes! disliking pit bulls as pets is, like, the definition of bigotry! first, it's completely blind -- there is absolutely no reason to dislike pit bulls as pets! and second, there is no difference between having a pit bull as pet and sexual orientation! or race! that's right: having any animal as a pet is the same as your race and sexual orientation!

It is common place to spay or neuter pets, a necessary operation IMHO. Some people crop the ears or tails of dogs, something I find cruel. In reguard to Pit Bulls I wonder if anyone has tried to lobotomize one? If doing so would rid them of aggression it migh be a humane thing to do. A little more humane than putting them all to sleep.

The only reason cats don't eat you when you're alive is that you're larger than they are. Don't get me wrong, I love them and find them beautiful. But the difference between dogs and cats is that every cat, to the individual animal, has murder on the brain. Pretty nearly all the time. Probably right now.
