@5 - because worldwide, people around the world realized that America was not pro-WTO. Even today, if you travel and someone says something bad about America and Bush, if you say you're from Seattle, they know you're on their side.

#7 beat me to the punch on the Kingdome issue. It's such a simple thing, it makes you wonder about how truly awful this thing is going to be. I'm planning on watching this with a bunch of friends sometime after it leaves the theaters, and laughing along with it...if that is possible.

I'm with #1 - the cop with the pregnant wife does not exactly draw me in. That said, I'll probably go see it (but not at SIFF). Don't know if I can suspend my imagination for the Ray Liotta/Paul Schell casting though.

Will the movie include the moment when former AFL-CIO president John Sweeney chose to lead the 20,000 strong rank-and-file worker march away from the main protest, denying the opportunity for all 50,000 people to stand together in solidarity? I'm still hoping to meet Mr. Sweeney one day and chew his ass about that.

Sorry, but that's a horrible trailer. I can already tell that although I know nothing about making films, I could have directed something 10 times more compelling than this inevitable piece of shit.
