I love a happy ending!

And after you're done loving kitty and fatteneing him up, he needs a good scolding for scaring the crap out of you...

Excellent news! That your kitty did not become coyote food is a minor miracle.

I was kinda hoping he got hit.

Then we would have seen a whole scree of irrational anti-car bullshit.

Those are fun comment threads

Yippee!! But I bet he was out on a drugged induced party session. Test the cat for crystal meth.

I am really happy for you and your cat, Annie. Thank you for following my advice and leaving your window open - because as I mentioned, your cat would come home when he felt it was safe, most probably in the middle of the night. If you live in a space where it would be practical, you might think about building and indoor/outdoor enclosure for him. That's what I did for my Pete and Sam. They can go in and out, but they can't roam.

best thing I've heard all day.
and check out hayden's song "woody." It's about his cat's annual springtime walkabout.

I was kinda hoping he got hit.

That's funny, I was hoping the same thing about you.

Although the way you're posting these days, it shouldn't be too long now...

That's fantastic. I felt so bad writing him off as gone.

We once had a cat up and vanish for three years before coming back, minus a foot and some parts of ear. I've never seen a happier cat than he was when he finally realized he was home.

Of course, this was in South Dakota, not a bustling metropolis, but still. Three years.
