I’ve already been the victim of an April Fool’s prank today—co-worker comes up to me all excited and says “Did you hear? Hillary Clinton dropped out of the race!” Took me a minute to put 2 and 2 together……that was really cruel.

I can only *imagine* the cruel April Fools' jokes that could be played on Clinton right now.
Did you hear she accepted the nomination to the US Supreme Court in return for dropping out now?
I HATE April Fool's day. I mean I only fell for that "gullible isn't in the dictionary" prank once but I've never lived it down. I hide in my house all day, viewing every e-mail suspiciously and jumping every time the phone rings.
Thanks for the idea. I've just taken this prank into two offices at my business and used it very successfully. Nobody suspected; everyone was aghast. As their excitement grew, I gave it the pinprick with a slimy smile and a "April Fools!"
It's a good one.
See, even Urban Dictionary is out to get me:

If it's any consolation, PopTart, I fell for "gullible isn't in the dictionary" too, when I was young. I even angrily hauled out my Webster's 2nd to prove it. My tormenter then asked me if my picture was there illustrating the word.
Thanks Fnarf, it is a consolation.
