It's not a very interesting spin on the original import-tax story, and, while blocks of metal can sometimes be beautiful to look at, there's no reason to go to a museum to see one. And the suspending on air cushions seems visually awkward without adding any special insight. SAM has way too many third-rate pieces (some by first-rate artists) in their collection; from the photo this seems like one of them.
