The Seahawks have shut out a team 3 years in a row on Monday Night Football, but they got no Monday games this year. Who made the schedule - Clay Bennett?
We're playing on Thanksgiving though.
I just came in here to bitch about no Monday night games.
And only one Sunday night game.
The Gulls got screwed on TV scheduling.
Woah! We're the Thanksgiving game? Cool! Is it me or is that an easy looking schedule. Ok the Cowboys/Patriots back to back segment is rough but outside of that?
Are you fucking kidding me? I can't believe we don't have a Monday night game.
This is no easy schedule, especially considering that the division rivals stand to gain a bit more on the Hawks this year, as the Hawks look to possibly slip a bit and still have several question marks to address.
I'm excited right away, though, to get to see a big dose of Marshawn Lynch in the opener. Someone's very pretty.

Shawn Alexander: 10mpg at best.
I plan on having a passive-aggressive resting tent set up outside the north gate of Qwest when the Pats roll into town. Hate away.
With the Seahawks struggles in the Eastern time zone they could very well start out 3-3 and all but wiping out any chance at home field in the playoffs. Then again the NFL has so much parody you never know.
Now, commence the, "why should my tax dollars go to the spoiled millionaires who cause global warming because people drive to their games" posts.
@7 "...the NFL has so much parody..."
So true. I like how they parody being normal humans.
nowadays, two sunday night games are bigger that the turd that MNF has become.
happy thanksgiving.
What @10 said, plus Sunday night games don't fuck up the commute as bad as Monday or Thursday night games.
Oh God, I'm so happy I get to hate on the Patriots in my own hometown. Get ready for the 12th Man, cheating coach and prima donna quarterback!
@10 - Exactly. I'd rather stab my eardrums with knitting needles than listen to Tony Kornheiser on MNF.
...And I can't afford any of these, once again. Whoo TV!

"Sunday, Oct. 5 Seattle Seahawks at New York Giants 1 p.m. FOX "
That SUPER BOWL CHAMPION New York Giants to you, mister!
I may be a hawks fan, but I was born a Giants fan. I still can't believe they won the best super bowl game in decades.
Get your shit together Hawks! If the friggin NY Giants can do it, so can you!
I see 11 wins there, jeez you guys get to play Ariz, St Louis and SF, all TWICE.(y'all were an AFC team when I lived there). Piece of cake.
As a bus rider I am glad there are no Monday night games in Seattle. When I worked at the UW and commuted to Wallingford, often the 44 wouldn't run because the buses were stuck downtown. I like football, but I shouldn't have to be stuck at work for a couple extra hours waiting for the bus on a Monday night.
@17 Agreed. As somebody doing the Seattle to Eastside commute daily (usually on the bus), I can only hope there's a special place in hell for Mariners and Sonics fans who jam the already bad traffic up worse for weekday evening games. Finally, a sports team I don't have to hate.
Hey, you don't want a MNF game.
Tony Kornheiser is reason enough. Special guests in the booth plugging some fack-awful movie/ABC show/orgy, DURING THE GAME, is the clincher.
