You know, I grew up in Port Townsend, land of the Wooden Boat Festival and School. I've known more people than I can think of that have built their own wooden boats, and never thought it special until I read the last line this guy said.
How romantic is that? I hope he finds his mermaid.

@1 There used to be an old mariner's cafe in the Boat Haven - a good place to meet some salty characters. Not sure if the place is still there, and don't remember the name.

That's a good interview except for the parts that don't actually make sense.

I agree, this new series by Mr. Olson is quite nice. Although, it seems that some of the last interveiw was lost due to technical difficulties.
