At first glance I thought the title was "Vag fest". Which makes the line "The annual meat-free, family-friendly weekend gorge-fest returns to Seattle Center.." seem somewhat odd.

I went, and was unimpressed. Most of the "food" was highly processed meat substitute, high in fat, and not really that tasty. If it in fact, the Veg Fest, where were the veggies? Only one stand had real fruits and veg, but was only for display.

veg fest was kind of gay. (all the stranger people are going to be like "dont use that word...thats SO demeaning")

i went. it was ok. it was kind of tired and uninspired. there were a lot of "volunteers" who neither liked what they were promoting nor did they know anything about it, which made the products being displayed lack any real integrity or excitement.

its still kind of cool - but you had to work at it for it to be cool. most of the people there were kind of guarded hippy style sensitive types. they need more jammers in there promoting kick ass products. most of the people didn't really grab you with enthusiasm or charisma. ZERO points for charisma.
