woot! my department gets a mention on slog!

A number of people who saw The Band's Visit at the preview said it was the best film they saw in almost a year.

Sadly, I missed it - glad it's out!

i saw 10,000 bc on monday with a friend.. ( i blame the weed and the fact that my boyfriend has been sick for three weeks and i was in the mood for some beef.. no beef just chicken.)well actually we saw 17 minutes of it and bounced. the lad who gave us our money back apologized saying' yeah..like i heard it was pretty bad'
on tuesday we went and saw the band's visit and it completely cleared the filthy aftertaste from that other movie.. see it and take a friend
