the chase ends in front of the old consolidated works (interurban cars still on the tracks) after zipping by the old open circle theater and lemonlime studios.

Some things never change. Case in point, the midway point of the chase where even John Wayne was all "lol, seattle drivers = slo"

Cool. As. Hell.

Now does anyone, anyone at all know where the final scene of an old Stockard Channing movie called "Sweet Charity" was filmed? I'm thinking of the scene where she torches the Ferarri Dino. There's a distinctive wooden guardrail on the side of the road, and it's on a bluff overlooking - maybe - the ID. I'm not sure.

Lots of the old 4kv primary in that clip. Most of that is gone now. Except for some parts of West Seattle.

HistoryLink.org has a nice little essay on movies filmed in Seattle. Wouldn't it be great if someone were to put together a nice little YouTube pastiche of scenes from all these films with recognizable Old Seattle landmarks?
