I'm sure Sims will put just as much effort into ensuring the animals in his shelter are kept safe and treated humanely as he did to ensure that pre-trial detainees at his jail were treated humanely and kept safe after the DOJ report...

...which would be absolutely none at all.

Isn't Simms a Clinton supporter? Just saying....

But nothing on Obama's lead gone against Hillary AND that McCain is seriously ahead of both of the democrats for the White House? Have not fear: Americans will always embrace their inner racism.

Time to move to another country!

Andrew, polls at this stage of the game do not tell us how the election will come out. We have a lot of history to go through between now and November.

Ron Sims is pro-congestion pricing. So in my book, he can do whatever the fuck else he wants and it'll be OK.

Had all those animals not been in trouble and found themselves in an animal shelter then they would not have those problems would they? Animal shelters are jails for wayward cats and dogs. They don't deserve to be coddled by "the system".

$5000 electric scooter? Why doesn't he just share one of the bike cop bikes. Although I guess with government contracting they probably cost $5k too instead of about a thousand...

brief comments before rushing to work
hurray for guns, I can leave my bros house next time I'm in dc

what do you expect from cheny or the adminestration...they can tag team lincons corpse and it wont piss me off, there like scorpians, stinging is there nature. what pissis me is that the democrats idea of resestance is passive-agressivly refuseing to apply vasiline as there bent over with there checks wide

I'm for any kind of goverment spending that creates thousands of redundent goverment jobs for poorly educated borderline mongroloyds like myself
I'm not for anything that gives money to some company who will undercut there employees or keep employment costs down

You know, in our new Top Two Primary in August, wouldn't it be great if some other Dem ran against Sims?

Just saying ...

Then we win either way ...

@14: Yup. I think it outta happen. Other than being a blowhard I can't think of very much Sims has done or stuck his neck out for.

I'm a diehard democrat, but I'm sick of his flip flopping and denials on a whole host of issues.

Re: the "Bug's Life" item:

Quote: One of DARPA's goals is to remote-pilot a cyborg insect to within 100m (327ft) of a target. Control could be maintained using pheromones or mechano-sensor activation and direct muscle or neural interfaces using the embedded MEMS.

Pfffffttt... It's good to have a goal, lol.

@14 - if you read the articles about the animal shelter and other recent county controversies, I think you'll find that Fergie is positioning himself for just such a run. I'll be very surprised if he doesn't run for Executive soon.

My god, Arthur finally died. I had totally taken it for granted that he'd keep sticking around. If any more wonders await us after death, he's the most prepared to appreciate them.
