LOL!!! At least Gangs are in touch with modern day technology! Internet, & I bet they will start tracking each other with GPS too!

Wonder if they are hiring website developers?

Hey check my math...

Heather Mills got $50 million for 4 years or $12.5 mill a year that's $34,246 per night assume half is cause she has a kid that's $17,000 per night assuming 3 hours of fun per night (generous) that's $5700 per hour which is hey...about what that Ashley Dupre charged. ($4500, was it?) Roughly. Once again, rough price comparability proves that when thre really is some kind of market, they work and set a general market price. Just like there was rough comparability in prices Obama and Clinton paid via PAC donations for commitments for superdelegates, remember?
Flame at will.

Speaking of Mars Hill Church: I live near the Wedgewood branch of that institution of intolerance and hatred and this weekend I took a stroll down 95th to Mathews Beach and then to the espresso shop/bakery on Sandpoint Way.

Some poor fairly attractive woman was getting married to some fat pudgy ugly guy and I watched them hop into their little sedan heading to their lives together.

It was pathetic and kinda funny too!

"It is about Jesus, religon sucks" Yeah, that guy has drunk from the puss filled kool aid of Mark Driscoll.

And in other news, a corn flake in the shape of Illinois sold for $20 on eBay.

re: Lobby Liability:

This proposed legislation exempts government lobbyists.

For more information, see this P-I op-ed, "Don't keep government lobbying under wraps". Quoting author Chris Lehman:

Council Bill 116141 was introduced Feb. 25. The ordinance studiously ignores paid lobbying by employees and consultants of the city and of state and local entities such as Metro, Sound Transit, the Port of Seattle, Seattle Public Schools and Seattle Housing Authority. (And yes, when it existed, the Monorail Authority was one of the biggest lobbyists.)

Government lobbying is exempted as "Communications or other actions by any City officer or employee or agent acting within the scope of his or her employment authority or contract with the City." Lobbying by other governments is similarly exempted, with some disclosure for those "specifically employed or retained" to lobby.

The theory is that lobbying by public agencies is "good for you," so you shouldn't be told about it. But government lobbying can be just as bad for the public interest as private lobbying.

That's why the state Public Disclosure Act requires the disclosure of lobbying by state and local agencies when it is directed at the governor or Legislature.

Obama supporters allowed fun: So says Bill Kristol. Bill has a little lark of his own, all in good fun.

Didn't J.P. Morgan himself bail out the U.S. in the late 1800's?

Mars Hill Tabella:

"It's amazing how God can change things," said Sarah Rosenberger, a 29-year-old Lynnwood mother who attended Sunday's service with her infant son.

Before the service, Port Orchard resident Amanda Jones sat in the church's cafe area with her friends. They'd caught an early-morning ferry to make it on time.

Couldn't they find anyone from Seattle there?

Why is the headline for Atlanta "War Zone"? I had to go into midtown Atlanta this morning, and the interstate was a clusterfuck, but the surface-street traffic around my destination--about six blocks from where the tornado actually touched down--was totally non-problematic. The weather has been gorgeous since the tornadoes left. It's, um, not a war zone here.

I knew I forgot to do something! I was going to get super drunk and go to Mars Hill Church and start puking during the service and then wack my pud on the alter.

Damn damn damn!!! I totally forgot, sorry about that gang!!

Something tells me that ABBA death wasn't an accident. The least known member died by a piece of glass cutting his throat? He knew something that the others didn't want anyone to know. Any ideas?

@13, When are the interstates in Atlanta NOT a clusterfuck? And I would really love for someone to explain to me why 80% of the traffic, even during rush hour, seems to be semis.

Allegedly, if the Feds hadn't bail out Bear Stearns, the U.S. economy would have completely collapsed overnight... literally.

@12: Mars Hill has been asking members of other campuses to try out the the downtown campus and help get things rolling. She probably (hopefully) will not be commuting from Lynnwood to downtown for church every week.

I too went to downtown Atlanta on Sunday and saw nothing that looked unusual.

This is why you can't believe the media. Every few years there's a story you have direct personal knowledge of and you see that their description is a total fantasy. You then look at the rest of their stories with a different eye.

@22. good point. when you are planting a church you need to have someone to do the planting.

my few complaints about mars hill are certainly minimal compared to most on this board, so i can leave it at that.
