I think you mean 20 inches of snow for Columbus, not feet. Now THAT would be quite a blizzard.

Comment by Hope it's a bad rumor

Florida is supposedly considering passing a law that says if the delegates aren't seated, they will not put the name of the Dem on the Nov ballot. Not sure about the source, but if this is true and it happens, the Dems would be in a world of hurt in Florida.

Greetings from Columbus---yes, the town is nearly shut down.

Singapore Math is indeed a great curriculum; we've been using it as part of our homeschool program since we started. It introduces the concept on multiplication in first grade, then has the kids learning the 2 & 3 tables in second. (We didn't start multiplication until 4th grade, so I was taken aback a bit.) However, the kids learned the concept and the tables with no problems, so I can't recommend the curriculum more highly.

I'll be taking bets now on no better quote or phrase appearing - anywhere, about anything - for the rest of the year.

I live in Columbus, it wasn't that bad. Tards kept getting stuck because they didn't know how to drive, I was bumping along I-670 at 45-55 at times. (If the road is 100 feet wide and empty ahead of you, why are you driving at 25 with your blinkers on?)
