The Arizona ban on high school hugging is playing out exactly like an episode of "The Partridge Family" or "Eight is Enough", or any of a handful of after school specials, or the movie "Footloose", for that matter.

Impose a blanket ban of teens doing just about anything, and the response will be they all want to do it.

Obviously, the school administrators didn't watch enough TV growing up.

i'm not sure where to begin with that "it doesn't mean we were wrong" bit. yes, yes it does. you were wrong. you took this guy to trial, and it took a jury 20 minutes to say you were wrong. and it wasn't because of a technicality.
