I used to be a language nazi but have since reformed. Please do likewise; language is natural and changes: maybe Bush likes to use the word embolden, but he didn't invent it. Even if he did, that doesn't mean that if it enters common usage it isn't a word. Descriptivism FTW (in all but the worst cases).

As to whether or not the word is the right one in this case, I don't know or care; it's a bit iffy though.

Does the article/caption (if there is one) say she's crying? Has the photo been doctored? What is the context? Will you even know if you don't click? No? When Tom Brady cried in the endzone and papers published images of this, I doubt anyone called the photogs "sexist". Emotion is not a female monopoly, though by calling depictions of emotive females "sexist", you're perpetuating that bias.
