...that delicate, satin-draped frame.

It's a shame she died right before she was supposed to have a cameo in the remake. She was well into her nineties.

Of course Canadians rock. Fay Wray was a native of Cardston, Alberta. Cardston is also the site of the first Mormon temple in Canada, but don't hold that against her.

A flawless beauty. But, ultimately, just another human.

I love her....

Fay Wray was purity, love, and goodness incarnate.

The fact that she starred in the best film ever made is just -that- much more fantastic.

Fun fact: Naomi Watts, who did a reasonably credible Ann Darrow in the yukky remake, wore the same wool cap that Miss Wray did in the original. (the NYC apple-stealing/coffee shop scene)

I had a crush on Fay in my youth, but I got over that. I'm still upset about the ape however.

I prefer the ape. Thanks to her Kong was killed. Thanks.

Beauty? Hardly. Classic? Definitely.

I, too, was saddened that she died just before her cameo in Jackson's reinterpretation.
