Has the embargo been lifted?

Does this mean it won't take an hour to get a drink this time? Or is that kind of inevitable on the Hill...

Alcohol bad. Sober good.

Let's be clear here:

1. We expect drink specials.

2. We expect ordering of such drink specials to happen promptly.

3. I'll miss Emma.

Excellent choice. More seating than Moe Bar, but with a similar vibe.

And @6: It says drink specials in the middle of the flyer! What more do you want?

Slowly moving in the wrong direction, one block at a time.

Damn. I'll be in Anaheim pretending to know something about natural foods. I had such fun last time, too...

What? We're switching to second Thursdays, instead of third Thursday? Not that it makes a huge difference to me, just noting the change.

And, I guess this means I'll be able to duck out to Moe Bar and get three drinks in the same amount of time it will take for the ONE SERVER and ONE BARTENDER at Havana to get me one. Because, it's been my experience that they're slower than molasses in winter over there; only The Satellite has longer wait times for drinks.

Which probably means, that's where we'll end up next month.

We want even more drink specials, Aislinn.

(grin)

...it's always been the second Thursday, COMTE.

It's true. It's harder to get a drink in Havana than in Moe.

Next time: Louie's in Ballard.

Maybe The Stranger should change its slogan from "Seattle's Only Newspaper" to "The only newspaper on a certain two-block stretch of Cap Hill"

Which bus do I take to get from Moe Bar to Havana?

Um, you walk.

I don't know if I can go to Havana as long as THAT MAN is still breathing. I certainly did not work all those USO tours for my health!!!

Well, then that just proves my point, Mr. Poe.

Aparently, it IS possible to get time-alteringly drunk at Moe Bar.

Cooper's is good, as is Pies and Pints. #22 is a moron and apparently doesn't know that Ballard has tons of good bars.
