There should be a vegan version. Eggs are people, too.

Yeah, instead of the egg thing that isn't vegan-friendly, they should just place Hermai all over the trailer and out front where they set up shop; perhaps a large depiction of Priapus, House of the Vettii style, would protect them and bring in extra luck and income! Especially on Capitol Hill...?

Looks more like carelessness than bad luck is the cause of the problems you listed there. My grandma had this spell she'd cast called "Putting down the bong." Want the recipe?

1. First thing in the morning, roll three raw eggs (still in the shell) back and forth over your forehead.
2. Break each egg into a bowl and add some pepper and a little milk, if desired. Beat eggs until blended. Discard shells.
2. Put some butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
3. When butter is melted, add eggs to pan. Cook, stirring, until fluffy.
4. Serve on a plate with a dollop of catsup. Enjoy!

After the dollop of catsup, it'd be real hard to enjoy.
