It made me quite happy to see this little guy out delivering pizza dough to Via Tribunali on Pike St. this afternoon.

We remove comments that are off topic, threatening, or commercial in nature, and we do not allow sock-puppetry (impersonating someone else)—or any kind of puppetry, for that matter. We never censor comments based on ideology.

Lovely. If I hop in there, will it take me to Khao San Road?

Awesome. We've become Bangkok.

I prefer the Piccolo's Pizza delivery vehicle.

Maybe a race is in order?

Did you guys run this shit past ECB before you decided to get a bulge over it?

You know she may not be pro Tuk Tuk.

That's an autorickshaw, not a tuk-tuk. noobz.

Posted by warblewarble | March 25, 2008 12:18 AM

@12 - They're different names for the same thing. In some places they call them tuk-tuks, other places autorickshaws. Tuk-tuk is clearly the better name.

Über-pwnage, noobz. Suxxor 2 b u.

Better yet, check out the Pulmonia taxis in Mazatlan. Great fun!

Unlike most tuk-tuks the Bajaj has a four-stroke engine and thus runs cleanly. They only have emissions and mileage figures for their scooters, not their three-wheelers, but even with the larger engine and added weight they're likely to be good performers, and very useful utility vehicles. They're a MASSIVE improvement over most delivery trucks, though they won't be large enough for many purposes.
