Thank you, Science, for spending hours and hours and probably a fair bit of money on something I have known for years... that my brain realizes doughnuts are better for eating than screwdrivers.
Odd that they don't mention the near-pavlovian pre-eating release of insulin that results from seeing treats or thinking about them too much/vividly. (Insulin in the blood, remember, makes your body look to your blood stream for fuel and shuts off your natural fat-burning.) Even looking at food makes you fat.
And this is scientifically significant...why? Please tell me this was something that was done during their off-hours, using their own personal funds. Anyway, I agree with #4, but alas, I am female (sorry Dan) so I can only continue to dream... Maybe I'll go eat a doughnut to take my mind off of things... :-)
I had two donuts at Robbs party the other night and I WAS hungry...AND drunk...and you were a polar bear and Frizzelle was a penguin and those donuts were g o o d . . .

How come my brain doesn't do that when it sees salad?
When I see Dan Savage, it says not only is that Dan Savage, but he is hot, and here is food.
That could explain why Dan Savage always looks kinda pensive and nervous in person, PR.
No, no, this is true. I saw it on the Simpsons.
I see Cops.
Oh, wait, no, it's a Donut.
Never mind.
Mmmmmm.......screwdrivers......
