Oh, no! Watching those meatballs fly out of the stadium was the most excitement I had all year last year.
Good thing we didn't give up anything important for him: http://www.baseball-reference.com/s/soriara01.shtml
seattle still has a baseball team?
Well well, perhaps Bavasi is not as much of an ignorant douchenozzle as I once thought he was. Thank god we got rid of that useless sack of can't-win-on-the-road shit.
Awww Hernandez, I wish you were actually Felix posting that!
Second worst trade in M's history.
Rejoice young man in thy youth.
I'm totally going out for Italian tonight. Meatballs.
@4 - I always tell people that he's my cousing. Sometimes, they believe me.
@5 Clint, I totally agree. This trade of Soriano for this loser still has me fuming. Soriano was both an incredible future upside and a public relations draw. Guys like Ramirez and be hired any day of the week in Saskatchewan.
BUT, with him gone for the first time I have the false sense of optimism that a true fan should have starting the season.
Right idea, several months (and horrifyingly bad meltdowns) too late.
Thankfully, the M's are in a situation where the drag on the team that was Ramirez can be sanded off, thus greatly improving aerodynamics.
