You need a longer commute, Christopher.
I personally have a 15-hour commute, which I do monthly. (Here to Hamburg, DE)
Snow! Where? on that God forsaken, pervert infested, condo living, teenager begging, hipster home turf, Capital Hill? I think God is punishing you for not driving as a good American should.
It's snowing on 18th and Madison, Snow day?
YAY for snow! I'm hoping I'll go to sleep and wake up to see my part of the hill covered in white goodness. :D
So either set up a very large circle jerk or make the snow stick! :D
Snowing on Phinney.
Flakes spotted on Lower Queen Anne. I was looking out the window and the rain started falling slower and slower.
It's CAPITOL with an "O"
I'm usually down for a snow day. But, seriously, we need some warm weather and quick.
white stuff on Capitol Hill drug reference has been mercifully self-redacted.
i called my pal in southern california an hour or so ago. he said he heard it was snowing in seattle and i scoffed. PSHAW. hasn't snowed here in ages, and besides, its gotta be 40 degrees right now. finished the conversation and hung up, got dinner and stepped outside only to get plastered in white slushy chunks.
but i want my sun back.
Big deal... we're about to get inches 110 through 113 of the winter/spring here in Wisconsin
At Seattle Center, it looks like light rain...until you put out your clothed arm to see slushy snow falling on it. WTF? Where'd Spring go? :(
@8 : No kidding. This shit is too little, too late.
Yay spring is here
Hey! Check out this gayass speech bubble!
snow queen, (1) an old-ish, frightening Disney animated movie; (2) me getting all excited for a city-wide weather induced shutdown!
God I wish I lived in a place where a few fucking flurries were worth so much commotion and multiple blog posts.
We've had snow at least as late as April 1st, in recent memory.
It's only with an O if there's an actual capitol there. Which there isn't. Fucking dweebs.
Love the look of these new comment bubbles and I miss the snow. Even the tinniest amount that Western WA gets.
@19: But CapitOl Hill was so named because originally Seattle was to be the capitOl of Washington territory, and the founding fathers wanted to put the capitOl buildings up there. The buildings ended up in Olympia, but the name stuck.
it was nice while it lasted.
Capitol Hill is the Capitol of Hills!
You should move down to lower Fremont - we rarely get snow by the canal.
On the ten-minute walk home from work just now, I saw...an enormous penis!!!
