Some of the polls are being kept opened due to icy weather. ...The exit polls favor Clinton.

I assume Ohio divies up the delegates for the Dems?

If so, then a dead heat is pretty much what HRC supporters don't want (or at least it won't be enough.)

Looks like nobody likes NAFTA, even if it was Clinton that sold us down the river on that, and Sen Clinton that supported that until she got polling saying America hates it in 2006 ...

Prediction: No clear winner tonight which means everyday starting tommorow is a good day for....John McCain.

This has to be settled soon or we loose the White House to the GOP yet again.

cnn shows senator clinton ahead 56 % to 42% to senator obama.

sure looks like she gonna win this one, but she is still gonna need a HUGE win in texas which is not gonna happen.

maybe she will drop out, but if she wins big in ohio she might just go to PA.

SeMe:

Those are just the first sliver of returns, from rural counties only.

Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) is going to come in late.

In fact, Cleveland may not come in until tomorrow.

Dang it. Now I'm going to have to contribute another 100 bucks to Obama.

cuyahoga is obama's, but dont know if that is enough to get him the state.

I don't see how a tie today is going to be good news for Hillary.

Except maybe for Pennsylvania, and PA is a long-shot for a decisive Hillary win if today is a tie, I'm gathering the remaining states are going to go to Obama.

Oregon may end up wrapping this up, which will be quite a miracle -- especially given that Supertuesday has almost always locked things up.

Terry McAuliff is on MSNBC, I met him at Thrid Place Books in Lake Forrest last summer for a reading of his new book, He is a fucking arrogant asshole.

She needs a blowout win in both TX and OH. A virtual tie is a win for Obama; whether it's 53-47 either way makes no difference at all.

CNN said "negative" ads worked. So, we should expect to see more of them.

I predict Pennsylvania will go for Obama.

Pottstown represent!

McAuliffe's book is called "He is an arrogant asshole"? If only it were true!

What SCARES me is what happened at the 1980 convention: I forgot about that until Brokaw mentioned it tonight. (I was 9 at the time but vaugly remember my parents thought it was great that Kennedy and Carter fighting it out AT THE FUCKING CONVENTION would lead to Reagan to win)

Lesson to be learned, lesson that apparently we are not going to learn.

pottstown is about the shittiest city in the world. philly will go obama, pittsburgh clinton, and the rest mccain.

Fnarf @12,

Don't you mean Clinton needs a colon blow out, preferably the size of Texas?

I think it's ominous that Ohio hasn't updated in ages. The weather must be brutal. I doubt we'll know anything worth reporting tonight.

I think Obama wins Texas tonight but his poor record in all but Illinois in Democratic big states is worrisome. Obama has run a great campaign to get the nomination but can he win in November? The Dems will not win in Idaho, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, etc. etc.

@16:(I was 9 at the time but vaugly remember my parents thought it was great that Kennedy and Carter fighting it out AT THE FUCKING CONVENTION would lead to Reagan to win)

Yeah but Obama is not the incumbent president here nor is Hillary. IMHO, Carter proved to be a non-so-hot president the preceding 4 years in that election.

You could ffwd to 2012, assuming a Dem wins, and call that the scenario for Reagan2K if you want to worry about that for that long, I suppose.

@17 - actually, don't mess with Pottstown.

Seriously, tonight there were four of us who have lived in Pottstown, and two of us are ex-military ... and we know how to play hockey ...

You want sticks with those teeth?
