Wow. I have no words. . .
Oh God, how fucking lame is that. "having a lover was a circumstance that damaged the honour of the person among family and friends." Well, no shit, but there's also the whole idea of personal responsibility.
However, stacked up against other retarded Italian rulings like the "jeans alibi" for rape cases, this really isn't very out of place.
Remind me again how America is backwards and provincial and Europe represents the pinnacle of culture and refinement.
@3
Italy has always been a crazy place where crazy shit goes down. Europeans think of it roughly like we would think of a cross between California and Louisiana.
Well, duh.
Same goes for married French women.
Otherwise, where would the fun be?
in many cases, it would be easier to get information if the parties new what they said wouldn't be made public. if your alibi is an affair, for instance, and you are innocent, why should you have to have anything made public?
not that i condone having affairs.
so useing the same logic
If i falsely claim that i seduced kelly,erica eli and dan and boinked tham all at the same time it would be ok because i'm protecting my honer and reputation as a virle stud-muffen man
Oh, Linus, we know that Erica has said she'll never do another threeway with you and Dan ever again, so that wouldn't be believable.
it just proves how overwhelmingly sexy I really am
Did she sleep with the Judge? That could explain this.
