it is kind of funny that they have to explain the rules. look, you either are a cougar or you are not. if you want to have him call you back, or have a relationship, or have to have these rules explained to you, it might not end well.

I'm all for older women dating younger men if that's what they want to do, but what disturbed me was the part where the older woman asks the head Cougar: What about the 17, 18, 19 years olds who are so eager to please? The head cougar responds that while they may be eager to please (all giggle), that MAY be too young. The woman who asked the question looked largely disappointed. I think there's a word for this? Hmmmmm...PEDOPHILIA, yes, that's it. The woman who is in her 40's or 50's is disappointed that a 17 year old is maybe too young to sleep with. Ick. Didn't a woman just get arrested recently for sleeping with her 17 and 18 year old students?

Pedophilia is the sexual attraction to prepubescent bodies. 17 year olds are obviously not prepubescent. To be frank, most 14 year olds aren't prepubescent either. Our ancestors who lived in agricultural and industrial societies used to marry and have children right around the time of puberty. It was not immoral. Now that we live in an informational age, there are certain new ethics that must be considered. Ethics and legalities aside though, finding young post-pubescent bodies attractive is quite normal and certainly not pedophilia. Only finding prepubescent bodies sexually attractive constitutes pedophilia. (For the record, I date older not younger. My cougar and I are quite happy.)
