It’s a Hideous Drizzly Day In Seattle

posted by on March 13 at 10:33 AM

Which means it’s a perfect day for show choirs.

Today’s offerings: a pair of magical medleys.

First up: Straight outta Iowa, here’s Linn Marr High School’s ass-kicking Metal Medley:

And then Twinsburg, Ohio’s Great Expectations retaliate with the stunningly weird “Na Na Na Medley,” a collection of songs featuring nonsense syllables, from “Hey Ya!” to “Hey Jude.”

Thank you, Auschglitz!

Omg, the choreography in the second clip is so bad I got goosebumps.

I prefer the term "Drismal Day" day to "Hideous Drizzly Day"

The choreography is bad, yes, but the girls' tops have HOODS. why the hell would they need hoods on their vomit-ish neon tops?

Hey, Sonics!
Don't get all down
Take a boot kick
And leave our Town!

The minute you let us send you away
You can take a sad song
And make it better better better!

OMG, why the fuck doesn't my work network allow streaming media!

Dividing my blank stare between the hypnotic rain outside and hypnotic choreography on my computer screen while I ponder what type of trouble I'm going to seek out when I get to Vegas tomorrow sounds like bliss to me right now...
