What on earth is that suppose to mean? Are you mocking their sacrifice, or do you just think and endorsement from Oprah means more then from people who've given 20, 30 and even upwards to to 40 years of direct service to this country's welfare? I don't focus on the military just because supporting the troops is a popular thing to do, I'm focusing on these endorsements because they actually are relevant, especially in concern of her current ad, which raises the question of who should handle the crisises of our nation.

Wow... seriously? I'm... really surprised by that answer. I mean, while everyone has opinions about the direction of this country, the economy and the war being top issues, I'm continually surprised of how "experience" has been insulted and watered down to almost no value. Yes, merely having experience is not the deciding factor. Neither are endorsements. But to some degree, the opinions of experts in certain field do factor in a something legitamit to note.

Moving on, remember that we are electing a president, not an absolute monarch. So Obama doesn't have military experience. Neither does Hillary, but never mind. What is preventing whichever candidate becomes the nominee from selecting a VP who does have a military background or expertise? Also, if the Democratic candidate wins in November (likely if Obama, not a snowball's chance in Hell if Hillary) the new president can appoint a team of advisors and cabinet members to help shape policy on national defense as well as a host of other issues. Neither one of them will be doing the job alone.

As a strident supporter, I don't admit that Obama has gotten favorable treatment at all.
