My ugliest professors at WWU always got the hot pepper and none of the actually attractive ones did. the methodology must be extremely strange

Charles Mudede was my high school English teacher. Fact!

Charles, as a graduate at PLU last spring, I can guarantee you I've never heard of anyone basing their opinion of a professor on one of these sites. Word of mouth still trumps any other evaluation. It's a pretty small university, so it's easy to find someone who's had one of your classes. I always heard you were very interested in your students and graded fairly.

I should have gone to the University of Puget Sound. That probably would have been a good experience for me. Oh well. I'm glad I went to NYC anyway. That was good for me in a way.

Yah, nobody really looks at those rate the professor things for real info.
