Witnesses saw a “suspicious” man on a bike, wearing a grey hoodie. Police say that matches descriptions of the young person who bombed the British and Mexican consulates last year—someone in his 20s, wearing a hoodie, riding a bike, who threw homemade bombs:

I have to admit that I found the coverage of this on CNN hilarious with the tag line "Bombing in Time Square, Police searching for a Person on Bicycle," how can you not laugh.
Start looking for guys with handlebar mustaches...
during the second worldwar the resistance fighters here in holland were famous for their bicycle drive-by shootings of german nazi's and their dutch collaberteurs.
and i know that the tamil tigers in srilanka also regularly make bombs looking like parked bicycles.
