This whole pretend controversy is exactly why God hates Democrates. Could we let this die already? This is so not news, and is no longer mildly amusing.

Words, just words.

This would qualify as satire if it held a plausible parallel to Ferraro's argument.

Unfortunately, it's nothing but clumsily offensive garbage.

It's hilarious to see the Dems completely fall apart. You guys are so dumb. You had this election won, and you screwed yourselves. hahaha

This is just like what happened in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane!

Blanche: "You wouldn't be able to do these awful things to me if I wasn't in this chair."

Jane: "But ya AAH Blanche, ya AAH in that chair!" ...

I thought it was funny and a very appropriate parallel.

I liked the one yesterday, where they explained how Clinton wouldn't be where she is today if she was a black man, because there's no way in hell she could have married Bill Clinton then, nor would Arkansas ever have elected a biracial same-sex couple to the Governor's mansion.

If Geraldine is correct, why didn't Obama wrap up the nomination early and is already debating... GOP Candidate Alan Keyes?

You know, today's Slate talks about how Andrew Sullivan made exactly that same point - that Obama's face is a huge asset to his campaign - in his Atlantic montly article last year and yet was applauded. Obama should have responded to Ferraro that, yes, part of why he's here is because he's black, but there's nothing wrong with that. It enables him to say the things that he says and actually mean something significant. Ferraro's comments weren't racist, although I have a feeling that she was feeling a bit exasperated when she said them. Let's move beyond this!

funny how a day later, with no apology from ferraro, people want to move on. of course some people want to gloss over this.
