Here? No, but I know where you can get one in Vancouver, BC.

Ask Mistress Matisse, she can probably recommend someone.

Or did you mean for your face?

Oslo's Men's Store, Queen Anne. Google it.

There is a barber named Chad in the back of Oslo's on Queen Anne that gives a good straight razor shave.

How about Google? Results from the first hit (after your own LiveJournal entry):

Capelli's Gentlemen's Barbershop

I was just now looking for a place around town to buy nice shaving soap. If you don't mind a trip behind the Lake Washington Curtain, The Art of Shaving (in Bel Square) seems to have "Barber Spa(R) services available. Appointments suggested". I've never used, so caveat shavor, or however you'd say it in Latin.

Fifth Avenue Barber, down the street from Top Pot and kitty-corner from the Icon Grill. Call ahead, there's only one guy (Rick?) who does it.

Second Valentine's.

A tip: if you ever decide to try shaving yourself with a straight razor, close your bathroom door before you begin so the cat can't get in.

I recently got some straight razor action from one of the guys at ACME on Denny, though it was for the neckline. Maybe he would be willing to "go all the way" for you if you ask just right. Call em up and let me know what they say. I would love a straight razor shave to.

Ah, right, Capelli's!

Yeah, sorry, remember walking by there and seeing someone get a straight razor shave.

Actually, just take a hot shower before and use some good lather. The hot towels are to compensate for your facial hair and skin not being moist and warm when you walk in off the street.

I'll throw up a third for Valentine's.

Nope. No way.

I had a straight razor shave one time many years ago. My heart was racing like I was running a marathon the whole time. I just couldn't handle the idea of a blade like that at my throat without having any control over it.

Quaint, but terrifying.

I have a standing appt. w/Chad at Oslo's on Queen Anne Ave. Been relaxin' under the hot towels and Chad's steady hand for about 8 months now.

There's going to be an article any day now in Seattle Times about straight blade shaves around town.

@16: now try it with an insane cat hanging by its claws off of your ass cheeks.

@17: KING 5 or one of the local stations already did a story about it. Also think there was something in one of the papers.

I would think that the barber shop on 15th ave would be a good bet. It looks like it would, at least.

ACME. Denny & Bellevue. Never got a shave from Kevin or his crew, but been a loyal customer for years.

Like stepping into a time machine: Neva's on Lake City Way (formerly of the Roosevelt District).

What do you get? Politically incorrect barbers, local freaks opining in the chairs, and some of the best damn barbers -- including a whiskey-voiced beauty named Barb -- throw down the best haircuts and straigh-razor shaves in the city.

Be sure to ask Jim about Hillary Clinton! Woot!

Fnarf,

It is NOT nice to call Mrs. Fnarf insane!

(sorry, I had to do that)

Now that I think about it, her name might be Sharon...but Jim hits me up with a haircut and partial shave every week. Excellent stuff from this former Boeing engineer.

As previously mentioned, Acme. Haven't gotten a shave yet, but at least one of the guys there does a straight razor shave.

Most places won't do it due to liability issues. There are places in B.C. and Vegas that I know that will do it. I use a double-sided safety razor and some nice lather and I get a great shave and don't have to pay a lot for it or fear for my life.
