We can't handle the Truf!
2/3 of the amount the state legislature refused to pitch in for the Key Arena remodel scheme.
and i goes to 1 man who's job is to stop other men from catching a ball.
Thank fucking god that ordeal is over with. I'm happy he's staying, because we have zero depth at that position.
@ Max - oh, piss off. What the Seahawks want to do with their money is their own business. It's not like Tru's getting paid by the legislature.
He got the Franchise Tag so now kicker Josh Brown is already gone.
Gone to division rival St. Louis Rams.
Let the revolving door of Place Kickers begin!
I am sure Trufant will enjoy his money even when we are losing those really close games that come down to a field goal.
And that's another COUGAR first down!!!
@3: you first.
i could give a flying fuck if they pay him the going rate - ultimately it is the fans who will pay him in increased ticket prices. i understand the salary structure of pro sports. i understand that there's no way in hell trufant sees all that cash.
i felt the comparison put the legislature's actions in context. 75 million is chump change. they wouldn't have had to deliver on it, anyway. it was only to give the city leverage in court. the sonics are gone.
