Someone left all their garage sale crap all over the Platform Gallery's floor.
Someone give me a bat.
i always wonder what sculptors do with art that doesn't sell. painters can at least roll it up for efficient storage.
I like most of what's posted on "Currently Hanging". I even like shitty art. I've bought my share of framed tackiness at Value Village.
I guess this image is meant to be a dress rehearsal for Our Doom. In that case, I'd rather have the raw materials. Aluminum tape and polarfleece will be necessary to survive the dark days ahead.
I do not require a dress rehearsal to vomit. I spew a mess of canned pork and corn on Melissa Pokorny. Recycled organic material adds value to what was unpriceless. Dead end, Melissa. Break a leg, Dead End.
I went to see this show, and I liked it.
But I think the real value in Jen posting "Currently Hanging" is to prove the concept, on a daily basis, that the internet is entirely populated by teenagers.
Oh, and when I saw this picture, the first thing that came to my mind was- "I could hit on that".
