Add a few (very few) squirts of Hershey's syrup on the scoop for extra realism. Best if the box is laid on the floor, where you can casually walk over and pick one up and eat it -- but be careful that there isn't a real cat nearby.

I made these 15 years ago, and they were a huge hit with the younger kids.
