Hmmm... usually when you make such a strong declarative statement, you provide proof (like, say, a link to what the new 5 looks like) or maybe a brief explanation of WHY it is bullshit.

I don't understand it, either.

In every new version, Abe Lincoln gets slobbier and slobbier and slobbier.

In fact, in this latest, you'd think he didn't know how to tie a bowtie at all.

the laundry machines in my building take smart cards and the machine only takes fives. that is what is fucking lame. i can't even put like $20 on the card, i have to find a stupid 5.

What's the beef?

The old bills are all the same color and all the same size so it's hard for a fully sighted person to tell how much you have and what you are tendering without looking carefully.

If you have partial sight or are blind you're just SOL.

The new bills don't go nearly far enough in making them more usable by the entire population.

Are Americans really such whiners about such a small amount of change?

No wonder Barry Obama is always going on about needing more of it.

I say put the big purple number in ALL the corners, why should the blind have to peek around for the right corner.
