I went once. A convention that is supposed to be about science fiction was about everything else: goths, fetishism, polyamory, cosplay, etc. Worst, more people were getting trashed and laid publicly than were doing anything book related.

Sometimes 3 or 4 a night, and usually under the influence of E. This does not endear NorWesCon to me.

However, every year I look at the schedule and see something that I really, really would like to go to (Joss Whedon singalong), and something that makes me cringe (Filk open circle, bardic open circle).
