First off, the Supreme Court ruling striking down sodomy laws is the exact reason the religionistas are trying to perpetuate violence against gay people. They can't use the government to enforce their bullshit religion so they will use what they have always used: bullying and icitement to violence. You see it in their children too. That's what religion does. They simply can't bear real freedom because deep down they resent people who enjoy life while they are miserable.
