Where are those Plasma TVs anyway?

And what were the drink specials again?

Can't wait! My old man is going to come home early to watch the kids so I can come.

I will make sure to smear shit on my palm before we all shake hands. I will also eat a bowl of sour cream before hand so that when I show up, the farts will be so bad that you will HAVE to leave the room.

What do psychologists say about people who like to play with their feces?

I realize we're not supposed to feed the trolls, but I just have to ask:

Ecce, what exactly are you so racked up about? I always thought you were some sort of log cabin republican, Ayn Rand-spouting contrarian. Argumentative and trollish, but with a certain POW that you were trying, however rudely, to articulate.

But your incessant comments about the things you want to do at Moe's makes me realize you hate everything about the SLOG, not merely a certain point of view. "Smearing shit on your palm"?!? Really?

So it that it? You hate everyone here? You sit around posting to a community that you hate in its entirety?

I will be at Spitfire, there are 22 TV's and it's a fundraiser for Seattle Works. Drink and food specials, new and improved Happy Hour 4-7pm, y'all should come check it out and show your support for Seattle Works! There isn't a bad seat in the house-

Just feeling a bit surely considering the treatment I have received around here recently.

Oh, and combine that with the fact that no one here would actually want me to show up and Moes, accept to beat up (ala the last thread on the subject), makes me a bit testy.

If anyone's going to freak out from relentless abuse, it'll be ECB. Think "Jeremy" by Pearl Jam, only substitute "Er-ih-ka"...

Ecce, I can't pretend to speak for anyone else. You know better than anybody that you've given and gotten about as much as anyone around here. But I will say that at the last SLOG event people were far friendlier than I had ever expected, given the smack talk online. Not one person was rude or "too cool to be bothered."

Skip the bodily fluids, though.

In person, we're all great friends, actually. I know it's hard to believe, but there's SLOG and there's life ...

what happens in SLOG stays in SLOG?

Sorry, but some of things that ecce has written here are indefensible and I wouldn't talk to him with your mouth, Sven. I doubt -- doubt -- I'd do anything to him, but if he had nastiness on his hands or spat in Mr. Poe's drink (as he threatened), he'd be part of the streetscape in front of Moe's in about 5 seconds.

And it's entirely disingenuous of him to say he's surly (that's how you spell it, ecce) because of how people treat him. He's a slog sociopath and his comments have earned him the disgust and isolation of anyone who would so act toward him.

He's a contempt junky. He gets off on us saying shit about him. Lets him feel superior. It's the only thing he gets to feel superior about.

I'll be there. Been in a pissy mood today so somebody buy me a drink when I get there.

I always watch political events at Spitfire in Belltown. They have so many tv's and they get a great crowd in for any election coverage. I think that they're having a fundraiser for Seattle Works tonight too.
