Google wants to be a telecommunications giant. Should be interesting to watch.
Re the Center: Why is Seattle so incapable of building decent public spaces? Why can't there be a nice open outdoor space with moveable tables and chairs, with good food and drink? Why do the food and drink vendors always have to suck so terribly? And why do beer and wine have to be off-limits?
I'm comparing the atrocity of the current Food Circus, or the even worse Woodland Park Zoo's food pavilion, with what I saw at both the Sydney and Melbourne Zoos. It was NICE, and that was a really unfamiliar feeling.
