1. Superdelegates should follow their state, so Al Gore should do what the voters of Tennessee did and support Clinton.

2. If he tries to do anything else he's a Establishment insider back room dealmaker how disgusting.

3. Thank God that Obama is running against Washington and picking up the whole Republican theme of the last 30 years.

4. They ignore how Obama worked as a civil rights attorney at radical law firms like Sidley and Austin in Chicago. Weren't they the ones who represented the Black Panthers?

About Kosovo: If California became majority Mexican (again) and they said they wanted to break away from America as a nation, you would have an American Kosovo. That is why the Cerbs are fighting so hard to keep the province. Rarely do we hear the whole story.

Wait a minute - California IS mostly Mexican.

And Serbia, unlike the United States, has only been around a few years. And the United States hasn't been led by a butchering war criminal for the past decade -- whatever you think about Bush, he's no Milosevic. The Serbs haven't quite gotten used to the idea that they're not the big bullies on the block anymore. The "other side of the story" you're not getting is the side of the thugs and monsters.

@4. Bush is “not” a butchering war criminal? What dimension have you been living in? Over a million dead in Iraq and you sully slog with your neo-con horse shit. Shut the fuck up.

Street racing is for idiots.

Besides, your limiter kicks in at 125 mph, as anyone who's gone 135 in Eastern Washington on those roads we here in Seattle knows.

Remember, cops always wait at the bottoms of hills and in your blind spots. And your gas mileage drops quite a bit when you're going 110 mph for any distance, even with real spoilers and proper tire inflation.

@5,

He hasn't butchered people in his own country.

@5: Fnarf's comparison is correct. Your trigger-happy volley indicates you type before you think.

Fnarf a neocon? You're obviously a new guy in slogland - but still, welcome aboard.

@7 - unless you count 3000 killed for his lies plus 50,000 seriously wounded (head wounds, limbs, etc) ... then GWB does have a bit of a count.

@8:
Sooooo, as far as your concerned, it's oKay since Bush hasn't butchered his own people, right???

@10,

No. Only that no state in this country has the same justification for seceding as the Kosovars do. Milosevic and his minions were butchers and the Kosovars' desire to distance themselves from Serbia is completely rational.

Anybody who street races a freaking Ford Crown Victoria doesn't have a lot going for them.

That Ohio thing actually makes a lot of sense. In a primary it's more honest to say you're voting for a convention delegate than for a presidential candidate.

My limiter doesn't kick in at 135. Well, in my truck it kicks in at 95 or so, but going faster in that thing would be silly. Personal best in my car: redlined at 145. On my bike: Let's not even talk about that :)

@12, according to the article the Crown Victoria wasn't racing: it plowed into a crowd of spectators after the racers took off in a cloud of smoke (thus obscuring the crowd). In this case, all parties share the blame: the street racers, the stupid crowd that surged into the middle of the road after the racers took off, and the driver of the Crown Vic, who was reportedly driving with lights off (it was dark).

@11 - no argument there.

And I've got a Sports Coupe, @14, so that's where it kicks in. The spoiler really helps, but you have to find someplace not windy, with a good flat road, on a sunny day, with a tank of premium. Vibration kicked in around 120 (on a Dodge Colt it was around 85).

I've clocked 145 but that was downhill grade boost before the limiter kicked in.

(and used to ride downhill from Rossland BC to Trail BC, no helmet, 7 to 9 percent grade - and outraced cars racing down - not a good idea, don't recommend it, even if you can do it on a racing bike in a hard tuck - easier to slipstream behind trucks but then you have stopping distance to worry about ... call me Danger Will ... (grin))

Seriously, none of this is what I'd describe as a good idea ... ever. What if a rabbit ran across? Had that happen in Nevada ... not fun.

@15 - ow. Dark, in a crowd, lousy cars ... ow.

Really, DO NOT TRY THAT. That is just plain stupid.

" the Chinook didn't have adequate landing gear and had limited usefulness for the ferry system."

So why the hell did we buy that model passenger ferry in the first place?

I took it once to Bremerton and it was odd boarding it. It also only had space for a couple of bikes, right at the ass end of the boat where saltwater spray was landing on my bike throughout the trip.
