Excellent headline. Almost as good as "Alex Trebek Jeopardized by Heart Attack" I saw on Eonline awhile back.

Jaws, Blue Thunder, and All That Jazz -- for that eclectic triumvirate, Mr. Scheider has a place in my heart.

Also, note that Roy died in LITTLE ROCK. Why didn't Huckabee perform one of those miracles on Roy? Huh huh?

And of course, 52 Pick Up.

So long, chum.

I've taught my friends' four year old kid the theme from Jaws.

Now I have to wait about nine or so years before I can actually show him the movie.

Loved him in "All That Jazz"--one of the most underrated movies from the era.

I tried to teach the kid "jazz hands", too.

As Uncles go, I'm a real pain.

Wow, 52 Pickup. Haven't thought about that movie in years. Good flick. I don't own All That Jazz (my personal favorite of all his movies), but I do own Sorcerer. Damn good movie; I will have to watch it some time today in his memory.

2010 anyone? Hope you know what the monolith means now, Roy. Godspeed.

Just reading this on here. Very sad to see. Very much a huge icon in the 1970's for his role in jaws and then really nothing else after that. 75 really is not as old as some on here may think. My mother is nearly 80 and still goes to work everyday. That cancer thing is bad stuff. Can we just do something about that soon before more people die?
