At yesterday’s state of the city speech, Mayor Greg Nickels announced a new plan to make housing more affordable in Seattle. The name of his proposal? The “Affordable Seattle Strategy.”
What's even better is this plan doesn't really do shit, making the acronym even more appropriate. With the South Lake Union Transit project and now this, Seattle building a reputation for ridiculous acronyms!

"won't be any ASS near *this* SLUT"

It needs a hyphen somewhere.

An ASS that doesn't do shit? Oh, come on now, isn't there anything good about ASS that you could get behind?
Wouldn't zoning for 40 to 100 story inexpensive residential rental apartments near transit hubs have been cheaper?
Well?
How does one build a 100-story building on the cheap?
You build it with your Housing Accessibility Loan Financing Affordable Seattle Strategy.
Is there anything the mayor can do to make his ass more appealing to the public?
@10,
There are some turds that even Tim Ceis can't polish.
Why doesn't the mayor just contact a place like Detroit, their plan to make housing in the city more affordable worked like a charm.
jmr - i'm interesting in reading up on that. do you have a link to a good article (there's so much about detroit's downfall out there).
I love a good piece of ass....
@13, I'm sorry the most I read on this topic was in a dead tree magazine, I forget which one, years ago. Remember those? The good old days.
did detroit kill the tree dead?
@9 - thanks, they can call it whatever they want, so long as they clue in and do it.
LOL! Yay the real ECB is back.
