Last I heard Anne Rice became a Christian (a Catholic I believe) and repented for all her dirty books and impure thoughts and sexy dumb fun. She doesn't do that evil stuff anymore. She wrote a new book (or two now?) about the daily life of Jesus that apparently doesn't have vampires or sex or dumb fun anywhere near it.
