There's an abandoned A&P store on 15th avenue south that billed itself as the "Christian Restoration Center" for a while.

It was the usual nonsense - folding chairs, flourescent lighting, "Contemporary Christian" music, overbearing egoist preacher, etc. All in the name of "restoration".

I don't know what the particular offense was that caused the attendees to need to be "restored", but I think it's safe to assume it wasn't of the Haggard variety.

Since it's gone, can we assume it was successful?
